When homeowners Mark and Stefan asked us to design the interiors of their 2 story addition, we were pretty excited based on their great sense of style and how the house was already filled with antiques and tons of character. We leaned into the architect’s plan of exposed timber beams in the Great Room and went for an old English Manor House vibe in the space. In the second floor bedroom and ensuite, we created a rich and layered principal retreat, still keeping with the old world feel of the downstairs. When we completed the work on the addition, we were tasked with refreshing the Front Room/Foyer; turning an underwhelming office into a showstopper; and transforming Mark and Stefan’s previous bedroom into a spare room guests find hard to leave. Next up — the kitchen and the guest bathroom! Can’t wait to get our hands on more of this beautiful home.
