Purchased by a newly married couple with a blended family of eight, this old Grande Dame in Lawrence Park was taken down to the studs and a three story addition added. Griffin Houghton was tasked with working closely with the homeowners to design the house from start to finish, including fully decorating every room. It’s a home filled with a cacophony of colour, lots of pattern play and a combination of traditional and transitional styles mixed throughout. It’s both serious and playful and each space seems to exude a different feeling and mood. We are thrilled with the end product and chuffed that it made the cover of the October 2026 issue of House & Home Magazine.
