More and more people are gravitating towards the lure of small spaces to simplify how they live.  We often hear from our clients who have downsized, how liberating they are in their new homes.  When designed with intention, a small space can show that less can be more when it comes to living a happy life.

Steph proved this when she tackled the renovation and decoration of a +1,000 square foot loft located in a 110-year-old historic building in Riverdale.  Beyond the need to re-imagine the utility of the entire loft through extensive renovation, our client wanted a different design style that would feel lighter and take advantage of the 17-foot-high south and east facing windows.  One of the biggest design moves was removing an entire wall and replacing it with glass to open the principal bathroom up to natural light.

Not only is the loft now beautifully composed; it works extremely hard to make every inch count.
