This project was a mix of renovation and decorating in a grand old mid-town home. We completely gutted and designed a serene principal en-suite and decorated the adjoining principal bedroom.  We used classic finishes in the en-suite with Calacutta marble wainscoting on all the walls, and placed a modern freestanding tub under a large window framed with soft, sheer linen drapes. Wallpaper adorns the WC and beautiful mosaic floor tiles fit the period of the home perfectly. Matching his and her custom vanities were made from Art Deco dressers found at a Toronto antique store and topped with modern vessel sinks for that old/new combo that we love so much.  In the kids’ bathroom, a fresh and fun mix of colour blocking tile and whimsical wall hooks take a mostly white bathroom and make it sing.
