This project was a complete gut and re-design of a very large kitchen and sitting room by clients who wanted a Parisian Bistro Style space. Our starting point was a Lacanche range and a custom designed hood that together, created a beautiful focal point in the room. It’s a mix of deep blue and creamy linen coloured kitchen cabinetry with white subway tiles, contrasting grout and patinaed brass hardware, including brass-capped feet on the lower cabinets. There was enough room to create two free standing furniture pieces on the opposite side of the kitchen - one that acts as a bar and one as a pantry - with a dining table and banquette nestled in-between. In addition, just off the kitchen, we created a cozy sitting area around a re-modelled fireplace.
